App usage: Barcode scans are processed to retrieve product information. Scan history is stored locally on your device. We do not associate your scans with any personal identifier on our servers.
Health profile: Any allergen preferences or dietary restrictions you configure are stored exclusively on your device. This information is never transmitted to our servers.
We do not collect your name, address, phone number, payment details, device identifiers for tracking purposes, browsing history outside our app, or location data. We do not build advertising profiles. We do not fingerprint your device.
The minimal information we receive is used only to operate and improve the service: to respond to support requests, to add submitted products to the database, and to maintain the technical integrity of the app. We use your data for no other purpose.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party under any circumstances. We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, analytics companies, or any other commercial entity. We may share data only where required by law, and only to the minimum extent required.
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the limited data we hold. No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take your data security seriously and maintain reasonable safeguards.
Support emails are retained only as long as necessary to resolve your enquiry. Product submission data is retained as part of the product database. We do not retain personal data beyond what is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

All content, design, code, branding, and data within HonestWorld are the intellectual property of HonestWorld or its data licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission. User-submitted product data becomes part of the HonestWorld database and may be used to improve the service.
HonestWorld is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
